ISRO launched a new satellite for Ocean and Weather studies

ISRO on Monday launched PSLV’s longest flight SCATSAT-1 at 9:12 am for ocean and weather studies. The 320-tonne rocket, carrying eight satellites, blasted off from the launch pad at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. This launch is said to be ISRO’s longest mission spread over two hours and fifteen minutes.

New Jaguar XF Launched In India: Price starts from 49.50 Lakh

2016 Jaguar XF, the new updated version of the British carmker's popular luxury sedan has finally gone on sale in India. Launched at a starting price of Rs. 49.50 Lakh, the top-of-the-line variant is priced at Rs. 62.10 lakh (all ex-showroom, Delhi).

The company has announced that the deliveries for the newJaguar XF will commence from the end of September 2016 and customers can now book the car right now for a token amount of Rs. 5 lakh. Interestingly, the 2016 Jaguar XF now also comes with JLR's all-new Ingenium Diesel engine, which makes the car the first Jaguar model in India to get one.

Google, yahoo, Microsoft to block information on "sex determination"

Search engines Google, Yahoo and Microsoft have enabled a system to block information on sex determination online, the government told the Supreme Court today. A system called auto block will stop any information including ads on sex determination tests.

Companies identified 22 key words including "sex determination" and anyone searching those key words will get no information online.

Pluto Paints Its Largest Moon Red: NASA


The reddish polar region on Pluto's largest moon, Charon, is an effect of methane gas escaping from the icy dwarf planet's atmosphere, say scientists who solved the mystery behind the coloured region first spotted by NASA's New Horizons spacecraft last year.

Methane gas escapes from Pluto's atmosphere, becomes "trapped" by the moon's gravity and freezes to the cold, icy surface at Charon's pole, researchers said. This is followed by chemical processing by ultraviolet light from the Sun that transforms the methane into heavier hydrocarbons and eventually into reddish organic materials called tholins, they said.

Iphone 6S and 6S plus price dropped by Rs 22,000 in India


iPhone 7 reaches India, Apple fans here have another reason to celebrate. The company has cut prices of iPhone 6S and 6S Plus by up to Rs 22,000. iPhone 6S Plus (128GB), which was selling for Rs 92,000 so far, will now be available for Rs 70,000. The smaller phone, iPhone 6S (128GB), has also received the same price cut and is now selling for Rs 60,000.

Apple has also slashed the price of this year's iPhone SE 64GB. The phone was launched at Rs 49,000 and now has received a price cut of Rs 5,000.

Volvo XC90 T8 launched in india for 1.25 crore


Volvo XC90 T8 Excellence Hybrid, the luxury SUV's top-of-the-line variant and the country's first plug-in hybrid SUV, has been launched in India at Rs. 1.25 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). Showcased for the first time at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show, the XC90 Excellence is deemed the not only the 'most luxurious SUV in Volvo Cars' 89-year history' but is also one of the most expensive cars to be rolled out of the Swedish automaker's stables.

IBM to offer mobile security as a service

IBM will start delivering mobile security-as-a-service (MaaS) through its own cloud infrastructure in India, a move that is expected to better address in-country data requirements.

The company will also offer in India data privacy consulting services and mobile strategy, design and deployment consultants, as clients look to scale their mobile strategies globally.

Samsung J7 prime on sale in India


After the successful launch of J7 and J5 from Samsung now company move ahead to its successor J7 prime. The J7 prime was launched last week at Vietnam and now available in India for approx Rs 18,800($300).

It has 5.5 inch 1080p screen with 2.5D Corning gorilla glass 4 protection. It is running on 1.6 GHz octa-core processor and the latest OS 6.0 Marshmallow and also it has a fingerprint scanner on the front.

The biggest smartphone of the year, Iphone 7 and Iphone 7 plus will be launching on 7th September 2016, tomorrow.

Due to demand, the time taking to activate the SIM is quite more. Retailer are not able to activate the on time because the day ends with the selling of SIM. For the activation of SIM customers has to wait almost 7 days.

ISRO scramjet flight demonstration


A major step taken by the Indian space research Organisation to demonstrate a hypersonic air-breating dual mode ramjet jet engine (DMRJ), which uses atmospheric oxygen in a portion of its journey and this step puts ISRO towards the space transportation system.

The programme will help the organisation to reduce the number of stages in the current multi-staged expandable launch vehicle to two stages. Mostly current vehicles are designed for the one time use and are expensive. So this engine give ISRO to put their presence towards the space transportation system.
