Ducati India has launched the Multistrada 1200 Enduro in
the country priced at ₹ 17.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi),
bringing something for adventure lovers in its otherwise super fast Italian
lineup. Based on the Multistrada 1200, the Enduro version is ₹
80,000 more expensive than the 1200 S and is the third variant of the tourer to
go on sale in the country. Only recently, the Bologna based bike maker
introduced the Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak edition in the country to
commemorate the achievements of the bike maker at the event.

introduce the Multistrada 1200 Enduro for adventure motorcycling enthusiasts.

The
first Ducati designed to take its rider beyond the tarmac. the Ducati
Multistrada 1200 Enduro has been built to take on any kind of terrain and can
withstand stresses in off-road as well as on-road riding. Power on the
Multistrada 1200 Enduro comes from the 1198.4cc Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic
Variable Timing) L-Twin engine tuned to produce 158bhp at 9500rpm and 136Nm of
torque at 7500rpm. The motor is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
The adventure ready Ducati Multistrada Enduro uses 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, while the massive 200mm wheel travel from the suspension ensure comfort on and off road. The bike features a semi-active electronic front and rear Sachs suspension, while a 450 km range from a 30-litre fuel tank ensures that the owner need not think twice before surging on the road less taken.

Ducati has
ensured to load the Multistrada 1200 Enduro to the brink and comes equipped
with a full-TFT display that shows all the necessary information and then some.
The bike comes with four riding modes - Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro and is
replete with active and passive rider assist systems like Cornering ABS, Ducati
Traction Control (DTC), Ride-by-Wire, Ducati Wheelie Control and the
semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evolution. The setup is capable of
detecting jumps and can automatically adjust the suspension to provide a softer
landing. So, yes, letting yourself lose off tarmac isn't such a bad idea after
all.
Furthermore, the
Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro comes with Cruise Control, Hands-Free ignition
and backlit handlebar switches for improved riding comfort over long journeys.
The adventure tourer gets full LED lights along with Ducati Cornering Lights to
illuminate the road on a corner entry more effectively. There is also Vehicle
Hold Control system that holds the braking and assists uphill starts or when
the bike is fully loaded.
The Multistrada
also gets the Ducati Multimedia System allowing riders to connect their
smartphones to the bike via Bluetooth, which further enhances connectivity
options and also allows the ride data to be shared on social networks. Sales of
the new Multistrada 1200 Enduro have commenced across the country with the bike
available across Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru.
