Anna Hazare saddened to see Kejriwal's ministers in jail

Social activist Anna Hazare, who was once a mentor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has said that he is “very saddened to see” that some of Delhi Ministers have gone to jail, while some others are indulging in fraudulent activities.

Hazare told media, adding that his hopes were dashed by the functioning of the AAP government by saying that “Arvind has been with me for many years. I was very hopeful for Arvind. I was hoping that he will set a different example for politics in India and also that he will give a different direction to the nation.”
Anna Hazare saddened to see Kejriwal's ministers in jailHis statements come against the scenery of the arrest of AAP legislature Sandeep Kumar who was sacked from party for being entangled in “unobjectionable” recorded CD. Anna Hazare was the founder of the anti-corruption movement that began in 2011, demanding the introduction of Jan Lokpal Bill.

Kejriwal then was an active participant of the movement, but later split to form his party – Aam Aadmi Party
